Threads That Bind

In the vibrant city of Alante, where the descendants of Greek gods walk among mortals, the lines between the divine and the mundane blur. Threads That Bind invites readers into a world rich with mythology and intrigue, where the youngest of three sisters, Io, possesses a unique gift: the ability to see the shimmering silver threads that connect every person.

The Plot

As a private investigator, Io navigates a society rife with prejudice against her kind, making her profession both perilous and challenging. When she becomes an unwitting witness to a murder, the discovery that the perpetrator’s life-thread is severed—an indication that they should have perished—propels her into the heart of a complex mystery. As she delves deeper, Io must grapple with the dark secrets lurking beneath Alante’s surface.

Adding to the tension, there is another witness: Edei, a member of the violent Rossi mob who rule Alante. Io can see what Edei cannot – a bright silver fate-thread connecting them. Thrown together to solve the case, Io must decide whether to embrace her fate and the feelings growing between them, or cut the thread and set him free.
