Description
Richard E. Grant shares his journey from Swaziland to London, where he pursued a career in acting and met dialect coach Joan Washington. Their nearly forty-year marriage was filled with the challenges of Hollywood, parenthood, and personal loss. Following Joan's death in 2021, Richard reflects on their life together and honours her final wish for him to find 'a pocketful of happiness in every day'. This memoir blends humour and poignant moments as he navigates grief and the pursuit of joy.
