Alice Oseman Four-Book Collection Box Set (Solitaire, Radio Silence, I Was Born For This, Loveless)

Alice Oseman’s Four-Book Collection brings together four compelling narratives that explore the intricacies of adolescence, identity, and the power of friendship.

The Plot

Solitaire follows Tori Spring, a cynical teenager who prefers the comforts of her blog and the solace of sleep to the chaos of social interaction. Tori grapples with the complexities of her friendships and the looming pressures of A-Levels and university applications. And then there is Solitaire, and Michael Holden.

Radio Silence centres on Frances, an ambitious student whose life takes a turn when she befriends Aled, the creator of her beloved podcast. Their connection encourages Frances to embrace her true self, leading her to question her aspirations and the societal expectations placed upon her.

I Was Born For This delves into the lives of fan culture through the eyes of Angel and Jimmy, whose paths cross in unexpected ways amidst the backdrop of celebrity and fandom. Their journey highlights the nuances of loyalty, devotion, and the complexities of personal identity in the age of social media.

Loveless follows Georgia, a fanfic-obsessed romantic who has never been in love, never kissed anyone and never even had a crush, as she wonders whether she has been looking for the wrong thing all along. This exploration of sexuality and personal discovery offers a fresh perspective on the often-unspoken aspects of love.
