Description
The Thunk by Michelle Robinson is a delightful tale that invites young readers to embark on a journey brimming with adventure and discovery.
The Plot
Hector Voltaire, a spirited young explorer, is driven by an insatiable curiosity to uncover the wonders of the world. His initial quest is to find the elusive THUNK, a mythical creature characterised by its unique trunk and enchanting blue-ish pink fur. Once thought extinct, Hector's determination to prove otherwise sets the stage for an exhilarating expedition.
Equipped with all his exploring equipment, Hector sets out on a grand journey of discovery, determined to prove everyone wrong. Told in flawless rhyme, the story is full of humour, and Deborah Allwright's engaging illustrations beautifully complement Hector’s adventures, making the reading experience all the more immersive.
