Emily Henry Collection

Emily Henry's collection presents a captivating exploration of love, connection, and the complexities of relationships through her engaging storytelling. At the heart of this collection lies the story of January, a hopeless romantic, and Gus, a serious literary type, in Beach Read. Their paths cross in unexpected ways, leading to an intricate dance of emotions and revelations.

The Plot

January and Gus are both writers, both broke and both stuck with writer's block, and each needs a successful book before the summer is out. So they agree to swap genres and race to be published first, though writing each other's kind of story may change their lives completely. The collection also includes Book Lovers, in which cut-throat literary agent Nora keeps running into her work nemesis, the editor Charlie, during a month's holiday in the small town of Sunshine Falls, and You and Me on Vacation, which follows Poppy and Alex, two friends who promise to take one holiday together every year.
