Agent Seventeen plunges readers into a world of espionage and high-stakes drama, where every decision could mean the difference between life and death. With the intensity reminiscent of Jason Bourne and the suave sophistication of James Bond, John Brownlow crafts a narrative that is both gripping and relentless.

The Plot

In this electrifying tale, the narrator is Seventeen: the most feared hitman in the world, a man with no other name who officially doesn't exist but whom every government uses. Sixteen killers have done the job before him, and to be the best you must beat the best, so with rivals on his tail his days are numbered. Each twist and turn reveals layers of complexity, challenging the reader to keep pace with the ever-accelerating plot.

Themes

The novel explores themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the moral ambiguities of duty. Brownlow deftly examines the psychological toll of a life spent in the shadows, where trust is scarce, and betrayal lurks around every corner. The characters are richly developed, offering glimpses into their motivations and fears, making the stakes feel all the more personal.
