Death

Death by Laura Thalassa explores the harrowing intersection of life and mortality through a lens of dark fantasy and romance. The narrative unfolds as the four horsemen—Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death—descend upon Earth, heralding destruction and despair. When Death comes to Lazarus Gaumond's town and kills everyone in one fell swoop, she alone is left standing, for Lazarus cannot be killed, not even by Death himself.

The Plot

Lazarus is the one soul Death cannot recognise or pry free from her flesh, and he cannot ignore his unsettling desire for her. The longer she tries to stop his killing spree, the stronger that desire becomes, and the bond between them, as dangerous as it is magnetic, complicates both their fates.

The stakes escalate when Lazarus crosses paths with the three other horsemen, and an unthinkable situation leads to a terrible deal: seduce Death, save the world. This hopeless task, made worse by the bad blood between them, forces Lazarus to confront her own desires and fears, weaving a narrative rich in tension and emotional depth.
