Tokyo Express

In the gripping novel Tokyo Express, the tranquil facade of Hakata is shattered when the bodies of a young couple are discovered in a secluded cove. Initially labelled a lovers' suicide due to telltale signs of cyanide poisoning, the case takes a sharp turn as seasoned detective Torigai Jutaro and his younger counterpart, Kiichi Mihara, suspect that more sinister forces are at play.

The Plot

Where the local police see nothing to investigate, the veteran detective and the young officer from Tokyo sense that something is not quite right. Together they begin to pick at the knot of what may be a unique and carefully calculated crime, a puzzle that seems to have no solution, and they refuse to lose heart.
