Description
In I Was a Bottom-Tier Bureaucrat for 1,500 Years, and the Demon King Made Me a Minister, Vol. 1, readers are introduced to Beelzebub, a demon who has embraced a life of quiet simplicity as a low-ranking bureaucrat for centuries. However, her mundane existence is turned upside down when the newly ascended demon king promotes her to a ministerial role, thrusting her into the chaotic world of high-ranking governance.
The Plot
This manga explores Beelzebub's struggle to adapt to her newfound responsibilities, which challenge her naturally laid-back disposition. As she navigates the intricacies of her position, she must learn to look and act the part of the most senior demon in the bureaucracy, a challenge that tests her resolve and ingenuity. The narrative cleverly balances humour and drama, creating an engaging tapestry of bureaucratic absurdities and personal growth.
