Wrath

Wrath by Marcus Sedgwick delves into the turbulent inner world of Cassie Cotton, a girl who has always been a bit different: she can hear a noise that most people don't notice, and she believes it is the sound of the Earth in distress, damaged by the human activity that is causing climate change. When she is ridiculed and bullied at school for this belief, Cassie disappears.

The Plot

His search becomes a race against time. The narrative unfolds against a backdrop of environmental urgency, exploring the profound connections between human emotion and the natural world.
