The Princes in the Tower

The Princes in the Tower delves into the enduring mystery surrounding the disappearance of Edward V and his brother, Richard, Duke of York, from the Tower of London in 1483. Under the watchful eye of their uncle, Richard III, the young princes vanished without a trace, leading to centuries of speculation and intrigue. Philippa Langley meticulously examines this historical enigma, drawing on new evidence that has emerged from her groundbreaking work with The Missing Princes Project.

The Plot

Langley's narrative not only recounts the events leading to the princes' disappearance but also challenges the long-held perceptions of Richard III's character and intentions. Drawing on years of investigation with criminal investigative experts, historians, archivists and researchers, she lays out the evidence and redraws what we know about Richard III and Henry VII.
