He falls short of both her strict standards of propriety and her idea of how an adventurer's career ought to progress, yet, despite his singular focus on goblins, she is still prepared to give him a chance to prove himself.
As the story unfolds, themes of judgement and perseverance are explored. Readers will follow Goblin Slayer as he takes his promotion exam under the watchful eye of this senior colleague of Guild Girl, in a world rife with peril.
